Salvador Macip is a M. D., researcher and writer. He got his PhD in Molecular Genetics and Human Physiology. He worked for nine years at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. He is currently Head of a research group at the University of Leicester (UK). He has around thirty books. He has been awarded several times. He collaborates regularly in the written press and the radio.

Emilio Urberuaga began his career as an illustrator in the early eighties. In 2011 he won the Spanish National Illustration Prize in recognition of his career. His work has been disseminated and has been exhibited in more than twenty countries. He is the only Spanish illustrator whose work is represented at the Chihiro Art Museum in Tokyo.
